As a Mortgage Advisor, Ken Sethi is responsible for the structuring, negotiation, and placement of commercial mortgages on behalf of borrowing clients. His expertise is financing land acquisition, builder inventory and multi-family construction and take-out loans for private real estate investors and developers. Ken is also the Manager and Broker of Record for our Edmonton office.

Immediately prior to joining Margolis Capital, Ken spent more than two years as a commercial real estate financing specialist within the Edmonton office of a franchised mortgage brokerage firm. There he structured and placed short-term mezzanine and bridge loans, as well as construction and take-out mortgages through a wide variety of private and conventional lenders. He has also held industry roles in Toronto with a global financial institution, and more recently in Edmonton as a lender and mortgage specialist with a chartered bank and a bank mortgage affiliate.

Ken's formal education includes a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (with a major in finance) from the University of Alberta, and a Diploma in Computer Systems Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He has also completed the Securities and Investment Management courses with the Canadian Securities Institute.

An avid sports fan; Ken took up cricket two years ago and is a member of the Millwoods Cricket Club in Edmonton. He is active in his local community, and assists his community church in handing out food.
